New Face of the city

In these days, whenever I visit both sides, I notice new construction sites in the city. And it seems that in near future the city's view would change again... Because there are so many new projects and they have been building... But I am not sure about their aesthetic views especially with the connection of the historical and magical city, Istanbul. It was ironically written in one of advertisement of these new rising projects, "Someone comes and changes the world..." Yes, it seems that someone(s) comes and changes the face of the city.

Sailing to the Black Sea...

A cruise ship... waiting for to enter the Bosphorus, later I would understand that she would pass the strait and go to the Black Sea without stopping in the city. While we were at the Bosphorus Bridge, we caught this cruise ship once again! She was passing the strait...

Sailing ships...

Looking from this side to the Anatolian side... and these ships are leaving the city, as this airplane, Bon Voyage!

From one side to other side of my city

we are crossing from Anatolian side to the European side of my city. And between trees in Yeşilköy, and driving along the sea side of the Marmara Sea, and sometimes with the city walls (most of them got
restorations)

I mean the colours met magically... This is my table cloth that I love because of its colours... Anyway, Thank you dear Anne :) Angels and muses be with you always...

Just trees...

"Enlightenment for a wave in the ocean is the moment the wave realises that it is water."
From Living Buddha, Living Christ by Thich Nhat Hanh

Just trees between light and shadows... From dark to light; from light to dark all green touches what I have between these taller buildings... My windows are opening to my imaginaries,... :)

Under the tree in the afternoon

I was taking rest but then, in the silence of my afternoon, there was a big noise!!!! What was going on outside of my home... Yes, there was a big argument between crows Up the trees they were talking very badly... (I am writing a story!) Anyway, when I went to see what was going on there, I noticed that I wasn't alone! Someone under the tree was trying to take rest in her beauty sleep of afternoon!
But these crows didn't let her to sleep....

WOW! It was amazing, she could catch one of them, could she?

But!!!! Who is this at the window, looking at her! Niaaaa! Of, you are again!

What are you trying to do nia, ?

I am coming right over there...

Ohhh, I can see you are not alone Nia, you have a cat with you! She doesn't seem friendly like you!!!

Yes, I think I am right! But what are you trying to do here and why watching me?

It is not enjoyable to sit here and to watch and to listen to these crows... I know my reason but yours nia?

Ah, they are killing me!

-THE END- (but maybe for me :) Crows they were at the top of the trees and this lovely cat, just watched them, couldn't catch them... I am so glad for this!)

Istanbul(again) from my camera

from the same hill, and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel..
This building is a very controversial project. It is considered the worst one in the city by most of the people, but yes, the discussion about this one has been started on some newspapers by some journalists, academicians, artists too. Even there was a big matter once, whether to collapse the building would be better... But yes, at the end, it was a building and standing there... And its name was given by all these people, they call it, "The cage of sky"... as if... because they think that this building disturbing the view of the city.
In my opinion, I should say, I don't like it... Standing really horrible... maybe because of its design too, but along the Bosphorus, these kind of projects should be thought well, shouldn't be disturbed the historical and also the ambience like a fairy tales... The city with all these things is a living one,...

On the other hand, by this oppurtunity, I want to share something too, this taller building is a hotel, yes, but at the roof there is one of famous Turkish architect's house and office, this was amazing... I just imagine myself in there and to watch the view of my city... As you can see in the picture, this architect lives in these flats of the roof... I hope you find it enjoyable,

you can click on "project" then you can find the photographs of this house and office... but the first pictures... the others are some of his another projects. You can understand because of the big windows as in the cage.
